- Tie a simple knot in your thread (overhand knot) and insert the needle in the fabric. bring it up and out after a few threads.
- Stick the needle through the fabric once more at the point of the knot. Bring it up and out again at the exact same point where it came up before.
- Pull tight. The knot is finished.
